KCB Safari Rally to be held in Nakuru tomorrow

Kenya Commercial Bank Safari Rally event will be held in Nakuru tomorrow.

However, according to sources, a new system has been introduced where rallying vehicles will repeat stages, which was not applied in the Nyeri KCB Micro Banking Rally last month. The Rift Valley Motor and Sports will be the first organizing club to apply the rule.

The KCB Biashara Banking Rally will head to some parts of Mogotia, Marigat and Lake Victoria
competitive section one, which runs from Hilltop to Lake Bogoria. This is the highest point totaling to 50.2 KM.

The second competitive section will be about 1.2 KM. Spectator stages at the Lake Bogoria Spa and Resort, competitive section three and 4 will be 48 KM and 44.5 KM respectively and runs before cars head to the Remote Service.

The shortest stage, which is set for spectators, will be a 1.20 KM spectator stage that will be repeated twice on an open field located opposite the Lake Bogoria and Resort.

Action revolves around Lake Bogoria, Mogotia and Marigat areas. It counts towards the second round of the Kenya National Rally Championship and will be covering a total distance of 284.80KM, a connection distance of 87kilometers and a competitive mileage of 196km.

Those who will contest are Waita Nzioka who is the Safaricom Director of Corporation Affairs driving Safaricom Subaru N10, Ben Muchemi (Baba Shiro) will drive Mitsubishi EV06, John Wanyoike will drive Subaru Impreza N10.
